In the following statement the term ‘adult’ refers to a person who is aged a minimum of 18 years on the 18/08/2017.
You must be aged a minimum of 18 years on the 18/08/2017 to purchase a ticket independently.
To gain entrance to the festival you must hold the physical ticket sent out to you by Bristol Ticket Shop unless it has been previously agreed that your ticket will be held at the gate for you or you are buying a ticket at the festival entrance.
Tickets bought on the gate for Sunrise must be paid for in cash and will be slightly more expensive than tickets sold online.
There is a finite amount of every type of ticket, we suggest that you buy in advance to avoid disappointment.
All child and teen tickets must be purchased by an adult in addition to their own adult ticket.
Up to 4 child or teen tickets can be purchased with any 1 adult ticket.
Upon entrance to Sunrise Festival a ticket must be produced, once it is validated a wristband will be put onto the wrist of every ticket holder.
Your wristband must be worn at all times during your time at Sunrise Festival.
You may be asked to show your wristband at any time, failure to show an un-tampered with wristband worn on your wrist with appropriate tightness (tight enough that it can’t be slipped off and on again) may lead to immediate removal from the festival.
Children and teens
All children and teenagers must have an adult who is at least 18 years old on the 18/08/2017 who will be responsible for them and to whom they can report back to in times of need.
Children and teenagers remain the responsibility of the named adult with whom their tickets are purchased for the entirety of their time at the event whether they are with them at all times or not.
All vehicles that are brought to Sunrise festival must have an appropriate vehicle pass clearly displayed in their windscreen at all times throughout the event with a contact number for the vehicle owner (or whoever brought the vehicle to the event).
Campervans and caravans must be parked in the live-in vehicle area and must have the appropriate pass on display throughout the event.
Live-in vehicle passes allow for a 6mx4m pitch within which you must fit your whole camp including your campervan/caravan and any awnings, tow hooks, children’s tents, guy ropes, sticky out bits etcetera.
If you require more space than 6mx4m then you must purchase an additional live-in vehicle pass and display both clearly in your campervan/caravan at all times.
If you have a caravan and do not have space for both your towing vehicle and caravan in your pitch and you do not wish to purchase an additional live-in vehicle pass then you can purchase a car pass and move your car to the car park after pitching your caravan.
All vehicles parked in the live-in vehicle area must be parked up and not moved until you are ready to leave the event.
Any vehicles that may be doing trips on and off of site during the event must be parked in the car park.
We love having fires at Sunrise and there will be communal fires all over the site but you are also welcome to have your own as long as you follow the safety rules:
- You have made yourself aware of the closest fire points and have your own way of distinguishing your fire
- All fires and BBQ’s are off the ground in a brazier or similar (to contain the fire more safely, stop spreading and protect the ground)
- You are aware of nearby tents, trees etcetera and are not putting anyone/anything at risk
- Fires are of a reasonable height (no bonfires in the campsite!)
- No burning unsuitable materials (stick to firewood!)
- No burning the wood from the forest (it provides habitats for wildlife and plants, firewood will be available on site and you are welcome to bring your own)
- No unattended fires
- No unauthorised fires are to be started in the main arena
- Sky lanterns
- Personal sound systems
- Illegal substances
- Nitrous Oxide
- Beverages in glass bottles
